Be a lamp, or a lifeboat, or a ladder. Help someone’s soul heal. Walk out of your house like a shepherd.

RUMI

Rev. Jessica Johansson, M.Div.

Hi! I'm Jessica.

As an interfaith minister, I honor the wisdom found across all faith traditions and spiritual perspectives. My work is rooted in serving the personal and collective needs of a growing “spiritual but not religious” population, offering guidance that meets people where they are.

I’m committed to bringing people together in meaningful ways and serving as a bridge when called to do so. Whether through ceremony, conversation, or quiet presence, I help others celebrate life, explore their spirituality, and uncover deeper meaning along the way.

I engage each client with empathy, clarity, and respect; allowing a unique, co-creative process to unfold naturally. By holding non-judgmental spiritual presence, I create a space where individuals can safely explore their thoughts, emotions, and lived experience without fear of being misunderstood.

I am in service to all people of all faiths and to those who are "spiritual but not religious."

In addition to being an ordained interfaith minister and trauma-informed certified life coach, I am also a Reiki Master Teacher, a NEDA-proficient end-of-life doula, and a death educator. I’m the mother of two remarkable adult children, and I bring every facet of my life experience into the work I do.

Over the years, I’ve held many roles — stay-at-home mother, creative business owner, and executive manager — and in each one, I relied on the same core skills I use in coaching: deep listening, discernment, and compassionate presence. These experiences have shaped my approach and prepared me to walk with others as they navigate their own turning points.

My path as an end-of-life doula was a calling I couldn’t ignore. While it may seem distinct from life coaching, I see them as deeply connected. Empowering someone to live — and die — with intention, clarity, and peace is sacred work. Though we can’t control the timing of death, we can choose how we face it. You can learn more about my end-of-life offerings here: Sacred Journey End-of-Life Services.

Lifelong learning is central to my practice. I’m currently completing a doctoral program in spiritual counseling, with a focus on spiritual emergence, ego dissolution, and non-ordinary states of consciousness. I also offer coaching and integration support for individuals navigating spiritually transformative experiences — including those catalyzed by breathwork, meditation, and plant medicine.

I serve the greater Monadnock Region of New Hampshire, with a home base in Keene — and I also work with clients virtually across the country. I welcome people of all backgrounds, beliefs, and traditions. Together, we explore what it means to live and engage with life from a place of curiosity and love, rather than fear or judgment.

I look forward to connecting with you.
